Lilly
placed 1st runner up in the 2007 Ms. Wheelchair California Pageant,
and published her first book May 2005.The Mourning Dove is
a miraculous story of survival and faith. Immediately the story

Lilly's passion is to motivate and encourage others to reach their
fullest potential by getting past physical, emotional, and spiritual
blocks. Although her affinity leans toward inspirational writing,
she finds great reward from collaborating on dark dramas and dark
comedies as well.
Lilly Simmons has a background in women's ministries such as small
bible groups and Women's Aglow. She is married with two grown daughters.
