James Cramer is co-host of CNBC's primetime business news talk show, "America Now" (M-F, 8-9 p.m., ET). He also serves as CNBC Markets Commentator, appearing bi-monthly as co-host on CNBC’s "Squawk Box" (M-F, 8-11 a.m. ET), as well as bi-monthly on other CNBC Business Day programming.

Cramer is markets commentator for TheStreet.com, a multimedia provider of financial commentary, analysis and news. In addition to writing a column for TheStreet.com, Cramer most recently launched a daily financial radio program titled "RealMoney with Jim Cramer" which is co-produced by TheStreet.com and Premiere Radio Networks. He also serves as the "Bottom Line" columnist for New York magazine.

Cramer graduated from Harvard College where he was President and Editor-in-Chief of the prestigious daily, The Harvard Crimson. After graduation he became a reporter for the Tallahassee Democrat and the Los Angeles Herald Examiner where he covered stories from homicide to sporting events.

Cramer is a former hedge fund manager and Senior Partner of Cramer Berkowitz. He retired from his hedge fund in 2001, where he finished with one of the best records in the business, including 36% growth in 2000.
Cramer helped Steve Brill launch American Lawyer magazine before returning to Harvard to receive a law degree. Upon graduating and passing the New York State Bar, Cramer joined sales and trading at Goldman Sachs where he worked for former Treasury Secretary Bob Rubin. During his tenure at Goldman Sachs, he wrote for the New Republic about stock market issues
